Desert Concert

A big group of us headed to the Sahel region in Senegal for a concert. It's a bit odd to see a stage and all the trappings set up far from a village/town smack in the middle of a desert. There was a band from Mauritania that performed, as well as an Ethiopian singer.

Never Ending Birthday

My friend Jodie and I have birthdays 3 days apart from each other. We managed to celebrate our birthdays with a few separate events. At this one, we had a bbq at the Bungalows.

Fancy Resort

Before my mom left, we went to a posh resort down south for the Thanksgiving Break. It's a good thing we visited when we did because the place burnt down to the ground a month after we were there...

Has it really been that long? Yes. I am that far behind. This one goes back to November.
